Downsizing a home that you’ve been in for years is a monumental undertaking, especially if time is of the essence.

Deciding what to take forward into the next chapter of your life is just the start. There are hundreds of decisions to make, each one carrying its own weight.

  • Will you need access to it while your house is on the market?
  • If yes, where should you keep it during the sales stage?
  • If not, should you pack it now, and where will your packed items live?
  • What do you do with the items you’re ready to let go of?

At Reclaim Your Space we methodically help you go through all your belongings and navigate through the decision making process. We take into consideration all of the moving parts and ensure you’re setting yourself up for a stress-free move.

We service within an hour’s travel from Otford, 2508 NSW. Prices start at $375 for a 3hr minimum session.

If you’re outside of our area, we can help you find someone local, or we can discuss whether a virtual package will work for you.

We’re also experienced in working with NDIS participants both self-managed and plan-managed dependent on your funding and goals.

Downsizing services

Servicing within a 1hr radius of Northern Illawarra, including Wollongong, Sutherland Shire, Inner West.

Sorting & decluttering

We'll expertly guide you through the sorting and decluttering process, actively assisting in the physical work while coaching you on decision-making.

We'll find a home for things that need to stay in the home to ensure you can still function day-to-day while your home is on the market.

And we thoughtfully pack up the belongings that are destined for your new chapter, all set and prepared for your upcoming move.

As a bonus, we'll also take away 1 carload per session of donations and small eWaste for recycling.

Preparing your home for sale

We'll work our magic to transform your home to be a standout in the market.

We'll expertly de-personalise and showcase your home to appeal to a broad audience, emphasising traffic flow and maximising space.

With our colour and styling expertise, we'll create a cohesive theme for your home. We'll use what you already have, plus a few carefully chosen additions to elevate your property and increase its sales potential.

Planning your new space

If you're downsizing and have already secured your new home, it can make the decluttering process far easier, especially when it comes to deciding what furniture you need to keep.

We'll work with you to review the floorplan and decide the purpose of each new space. Taking an inventory of your current furniture including measurements, we can work through what will realistically fit and serve a purpose in your fresh new home.

Our goal is to ensure that your new home is not just a downsized version of your old one, but a place that maximises comfort, style, and functionality.
